Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to a brand new school year at Life Changers! It is with great joy and deep gratitude that I step into the role of Interim Head of School. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve this incredible community and walk alongside each of you in this exciting season of growth, learning, and spiritual discovery.
As we begin this journey together, I want to assure you that my heart is fully committed to the well-being, development, and success of every scholar entrusted to our care. I believe that each child is uniquely created by God with a purpose, and it is our mission to nurture not only their academic abilities but also their character, faith, and identity in Christ.
This year, our focus is on building a strong, Christ-centered culture where learning is vibrant, relationships are meaningful, and joy is felt in every classroom, hallway, and conversation. We will strive to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel known, loved, and empowered to be their very best.
To our parents and guardians, I say thank you. Thank you for partnering with us and entrusting us with your children. Your role is invaluable, and I look forward to building strong relationships rooted in mutual respect, shared faith, and open communication. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of our scholars.
To our students, I want you to know that you are seen, valued, and deeply loved. This year is full of new opportunities—chances to grow in wisdom, deepen your faith, try new things, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. I encourage you to be brave, be kind, and always seek God’s guidance in all you do.
As the Lord leads, I will continue to pray for clarity, strength, and wisdom to serve this community faithfully. My promise is to lead with integrity, humility, and a servant’s heart. Let’s make this a year of faith, excellence, and connection. I am so excited for what lies ahead and can’t wait to see all that God will do through each one of us.

Ms. Humes is a passionate educator and faith-driven leader who believes in putting Christ first in all things. She holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Organizational Leadership. Her calling extends beyond the classroom, as she faithfully serves in her local church as a dance ministry leader—where worship, movement, and purpose beautifully collide.
Teaching is more than a job for Ms. Humes—it’s a mission. With a heart for people and a love for deep, meaningful conversations, she strives to build authentic relationships that spark growth, self-awareness, and transformation. She often shares, “I want to be a light to others while overcoming my own struggles and obstacles.” Her transparency reminds students that growth is a journey, and even in hard seasons, purpose still speaks.

Our goal for LCCA Students is to understand the importance of knowledge and wisdom
